Mark Grantham was the human manager of Combat 3000, a laser tag game.
Grantham was secretly in league with Uvlavad Kudlak, who was using Combat 3000 to recruit new soldiers for the Uvodni war. As Luke and Maria were going shopping for a new bag, Grantham gave them a leaflet for the game. When Sarah Jane and Maria began to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Maria's schoolmate, Lance Metcalf, they had two unpleasant encounters with Grantham, who displayed a willingness to kill them. They eventually forced him to transport them to the Uvodni spaceship to save Luke and Clyde, who had taken part in the game and been kidnapped. When the games were shut down, Grantham escaped, but Sarah Jane decided not to pursue him. She knew Grantham was the type who couldn't stay out of trouble for long, and he'd likely be his own undoing one day. (TV: Warriors of Kudlak)
