South Croydon was the home of Sarah Jane Smith and her aunt Lavinia. It was the place where Sarah Jane Smith hoped the Doctor returned her to when he took her home to Earth. (DW: The Hand of Fear) However, he had actually taken her to Aberdeen, Scotland. (DW: School Reunion)
