The Harrassi were a legend or, according to Bernice Summerfield, a hoax. Professor Kardom came to the Braxiatel Collection to study some texts that Benny had found, hoping to use the texts to prove the existence of the Harrassi. He was murdered by Rand Gemeno, who wanted to prevent the legend from being proven true. (PROSE: The Blame of the Nose)
