The galley master was in charge of the slaves aboard the galley to which Ian and Delos were assigned. They tried to trick him by faking Delos' death, but he wasn't fooled. When the ship was swamped by a storm, Delos and Ian escaped overboard, with Delos taking the galley master's key. (TV: The Romans)
