Chris Boucher was an important contributor to the Fourth Doctor era of Doctor Who.
He penned three stories and was responsible for the creation of the companion Leela, who's name he derived from freedom fighter Leila Khaled (source: DVD commentary for The Robots of Death).
The Kaldor City audio series is based on characters and locations from Boucher's Doctor Who and Blake's 7 stories. He was creative consultant on the series and wrote the second release, Death's Head.
