Professor Malcolm Taylor is one of the UNIT's scientific advisors. He is Welsh and has read all the files on the Doctor. He aided in the help of sealing the wormhole but refused not to close the hole until the Doctor was out, he was held at gunpoint by Captain Erisa Magambo however the Doctor came back through, he closed it and Magambo put down her gun.
