Chief Petty Officer Myers was a Royal Navy officer who took part in the battle to retake Captain John Hart's base. He shot and killed the Sea Devil]who was guarding the Doctor and The Master. He was then told to guard the Master, who instead hypnotised him, then knocked him out. (DW: The Sea Devils)
