The formation of Jim'll Fix It consisted of children from the public writing in to the hoest, Jimmy Saville, requesting that "fix" something for them, to make some wish come true.

  • The Fourth Doctor, (Tom Baker) appeared in a 1970s, where he handed out torn-off scraps of scarves to give scarves to some girl visitors to the studio.
  • Numerous viewers have reportedly written in wishing for their own TARDIS or to ride in the Doctor's.
