Grotzits, sometimes spelt grotzis and also known as crowns, were a form of currency, usually used in the Andromeda Galaxy around the year 2,000,000. Sabalom Glitz was fond of grotzits (TV: The Mysterious Planet) and later sold his crew for 17 crowns each. (TV: Dragonfire)
The Seventh Doctor later wished he had a grotzit for every time an Earthman thought Gallifrey was in Ireland. (PROSE: White Darkness)
