Biography

Professor Malcolm Taylor was one of UNIT's foremost scientific advisors. He was a Welshman and had read all UNIT files on the Doctor. He preceded the Doctor in working out how to close the wormhole created by the Alien Stingrays, leading the Doctor to describe him as "brilliant"" and his "new best friend." It is also stated during the course of the episode that Malcolm is one of the few people to have ever hung up the phone on the Doctor.
