Ian Burgess was one of Andrew Powell's roommates at Winterborne School. Christian Purcell told Andrew to kill one of his roommates, Ian or Max, so he could return from the dead. Andrew chose to kill Max after luring him up to an attic. (HOMEVID: Ghosts of Winterborne)
