In a universe other than the one that the renegade Time Lord known as the Doctor called home, a person who logically would have been called the Tenth Doctor was the result of the regeneration of the Ninth Doctor.
Biography
The tenth incarnation came into being when his previous incarnation regenerated after the Daleks exterminated him on the planet Tersurus.
This very short-lived incarnation described himself as "cute, sexy and lick-the-mirror handsome". Possessed of an overly confident and flirtatious personality, he referred to his companion Emma as "the only companion I've ever... had" and said that the Master had "nice tits", which were really Dalek etheric beam locators. He noted that in this new body he felt he would be very good at rewiring.

Behind the scenes
- Richard E Grant would play the ninth incarnation of the Doctor not considered as part of the DWU. He would also play another "doctor" alongside Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor in TV: The Snowmen: Doctor Walter Simeon, whose image was used by the Great Intelligence in later appearances by the Intelligence.
