The Rose and Crown is an actual pub and inn in the UK: http://www.roseandcrownsnettisham.co.uk/ I'm confused how it could be a reference to Donna? When did Donna ever wear a crown? If you're referring to her last names, Nobles do not wear crowns (royalty do), and Temples do not have anything to do with crowns either. The name 'The Rose and Crown' is actually a common pub name in the UK - don't think you can really single out one (especially one in Norfolk) as the origin.Baziel ☎ 14:56, December 27, 2012 (UTC)
- No, of course not. I didn't mean to imply that the one we saw in the episode was that particular one I linked to. I only meant to show that it is not likely to be intended as a reference to previous companions, as a previous editor of the article supposed (that statement was subsequently removed from the article, making my original comment confusing).
