Raaga was a Terileptil mining planet. The world was rich in tinclavic which was mined by the Terileptils for use by the people of Hakol in the star system of Rifta. Apparently conditions were harsh there; the world was used as a means of dealing with their criminals, and every sentence there was always for life. Facial scarring was a common result of the work. (TV: The Visitation) The Fifth Doctor and Tegan once fought the Terileptils on Raaga. (PROSE: CHAOS)
