== How I began watching Doctor Who ==
A friend of my late mother's was a BIG whovian, and half the time I had no idea what he was talking about. I kept hearing the words 'TARDIS' and 'Matt Smith'. Not to mention the constant 'Weeping Angels' nonsense. He was watching a video about them with my mother and her other friends, and I tuned in.
 
It was a bit scary, but after it was done I had to appreciate it for the amazing job they did filming it. When he decided to let me watch an episode with him, he was kind enough to turn on Episode 1 of the New Who! He explained some of the dynamics to me, and by the episode's end I was hooked!
 
I began watching as many episodes as I could, and learned so much from it! I was sad when Christopher left, but happy David (my favorite Doctor) came onto the show. I kept watching and binge-watching, even taking hours a day just to look up random info on this very Wiki!
 
A few Christmas' later I got my first two Sonic Screwdriver replicas. I was so happy!
 
I still watch Doctor Who, although thanks to life-happenings and thematic events I am VERY VERY VERY far behind! Although I was able to squeeze in some episodes with Peter Capaldi, my 3rd favorite of the many awesome Doctors!
 
A few months ago, my dad took me to the Wizard-World comic con, full of crazy geeky things! And guess who I met?
 
John Barrowman!!! SQUEAL!!!!
 
I got his autograph, and he was so nice to me. He even let all the fans sneak some pictures!
 
Doctor Who has changed my life so much. Thank you.

How I began watching Doctor Who
