The Taalyens were a race led by Traanus who tried to conquer Keska and other planets. Their initial plan to invade Keska failed because of the artificial force field that the War Doctor created around the planet. (AUDIO: The Innocent) After many years, they made an alliance with the Daleks to help them infiltrate the planet. They also became involved with the Dalek plan to drill into the core of the thousand planets in order to destroy Gallifrey. (AUDIO: The Heart of the Battle)

One distinguishable agenda of the Taalyens in invading was to horde the technology of the planet they wereinvading.(AUDIO: The Innocent)
