Mr Scoones was the owner of a London workhouse. On Christmas Eve 1851 he attended the funeral of Reverend Aubrey Fairchild. Mercy Hartigan arrived with an army of Cybermen, but he, Mr Cole, |Mr Fetch and Mr Milligan were taken by them to be used as a part of their plans. They made him take the orphans to the lair of the CyberKing. He was killed by Mercy Hartigan when he was no longer needed. (TV: The Next Doctor)
