The SS Pevensey Castle was a ship in the 1970s.
It was attacked by the Sea Devils in the English Channel. The radio operator sent a mayday which was intercepted by Ldg. Telegraphist Bowman, but was cut off before he could give their position. No trace of the ship or its crew were found except for one lifeboat, which was taken to HMS Seaspite. (TV: The Sea Devils)
