The Heavenites were the original dominant species native to Heaven. They were mammalian, and Benny described them as "probably something like a bear with an opposable thumb". They had died out completely at the hands of the Hoothi by the 26th century, with little trace of their civilisation left apart from an observatory covered in Heavenite writing and some poetry written in Heavenite. (PROSE: Love and War, AUDIO: Love and War)
