Behind the scenes
The Two Doctors was filmed in Spain, one of the few serials of the original series to be filmed outside the United Kingdom, and the last before the original series ended in 1989. In the mid-1990s, Doctor Who: The TV Movie would be the next adventure filmed outside the UK, when it was produced in Canada.
