The puppet of Mary Shelley was one of the puppets created by Gramm using Cyberman technology after Mary Shelley was put into his cage. Being modelled on Mary in appearance, the puppet could also talk with Mary's voice, learning and repeating phrases spoken by Mary.
Enchanted by the real Mary's eyes, Johan Drossel considered her puppet to be incomplete without the eyes of the original. After seeing eyes in jars in Drossel's tent, Mary guessed his intentions and tried to stay away from him whenever possible, successfully preventing him from "completing" the puppet.
