::I think in I, Davros it says that the Dals were extinct by the time the Daleks were created and, because the Daleks were inspired by the Dals, the records mistakenly said the Kaleds were Dals or something. Remember, a 1,000-year war was warped into a brief nuclear skirmish. History was not perfectly preserved after the Daleks came. :::I guess that Terry Nation changed his mind when he wrote Genesis of the Daleks. (And I can forgive him that considering how great that one is). Remember taht in 1975, video tapes had not become widespread - he could well have though that few people would watch the original story again. Later writers have attempted to explain the discrepancy - but that could get changed again. -- Beardouk ☎ 23:14, May 29, 2016 (UTC) |
