Ida Scott was part of the crew on Krop Tor researching the black hole known as K37 Gem 5. She was part of the Walker Expedition researching the previous civilization which enabled the planet to orbit a blackhole, she also accompanied the Doctor down into the pit within the planet. (DW: The Impossible Planet)
She was rendered unconscious because her suit ran out of oxygen. she was however rescued by the Doctor before dying of asphyxiation. (DW: The Satan Pit)
