On 10 January, the following important behind-the-scenes events were known to have occurred:
- 1996 - Paul McGann was announced as portraying the Eighth Doctor in the 1996 TV movie and beyond.
- 2006 - At the request of Barbara Windsor, a rewrite of Army of Ghosts known as a "pink revision" was made. This covered Windsor's material as Peggy Mitchell in EastEnders. (DWMSE 14)
