Heinz worked at the performances of the Silver Turk organized by Alfred Stahlbaum at the Vienna Exposition in 1873. In September of that year, Heinz threw Count Wittenmeier out when the latter lost in chequers to the Silver Turk and tried to make a row, angry about losing a bet to Stahlbaum and losing the money that he had invested in the Silver Turk.
