Geoffrey Howard Armand was an Earth Empire nobleman. He was also Duke of Europe and Lord High Sheriff of Earth.

He was Walid's rival for the throne of the Empire. After the Divine Empress was killed, he promised to help the Brotherhood if they aided in making him Emperor. Eventually they decided he would not be as useful to them as they had thought, and switched allegiance to Walid. Armand was arrested by Imperial Intelligence shortly thereafter. (PROSE: So Vile a Sin)
