Hannalore was a servant of Count Rolf Wittenmeier and his wife Mitzi in Vienna, Austria in 1873.
She was indirectly responsible for the kidnapping of Mary Shelley by Johan Drossel's puppets when she opened the door, unaware of the Eighth Doctor's instructions to bolt it shut. Mitzi Wittenmeier sent her daughter with Hannalore to her sister living in Linz. (AUDIO: The Silver Turk)
