Ceri was an understudy at the Palace Theatre and was a backup for the role of Cinderella in the theatre's first ever pantomime.
She met the Twelfth Doctor in the Props Room of the theatre on Christmas Eve, 2014. Understanding that everyone in the theatre was gradually being changed into animal-human hybrids, she briefly travelled with him to the Bishop's Palace in 1902 and the crash site of an Addos ship. They worked out that the Addos witnessed a Mummers play in 1902 and were trying to recreate the play in 2014 to get the appraisal of an audience. Back in 2014, Ceri went on stage alongside the Doctor to gain the applause of the audience and show the Addos that they were appreciated. (PROSE: Behind You)
