The MITRE Headset was created by the [[Slitheen]] but used by [[Mr Smith]]/[[Xylok]]. [[Korst Gogg Thek Lutiven-Day Slitheen]] created the MITRE Headset by being tricked by Mr Smith. The [[Slitheen]] wanted to use the headset to store energy but Mr Smith knew that [[Luke Smith|Luke]] would escape and come back to [[Sarah Jane Smith]]'s house. Mr Smith wanted to use the MITRE headset to destroy the [[Earth]] by pulling [[the Moon]] down to Earth and destroying it. MITRE could not be used like that by a Human but Mr Smith and [[Luke Smith|Luke]] are the greatest minds on the Earth.
