Dracian VIII was a human colony in the Dracian system. During the Orion War, the Androids detonated the colony's nuclear reactor, allowing them to attack the surviving colonists while the radiation prevented orbiting Earth spaceships from rendering assistance. The attack was designed to destroy Earth's will to fight them. However, this and other similar attacks pushed President Karen Brett to allying with the Cybermen against the Android Horde.
