Steven Carter, is the grandson of Captain Jack Harkness. Being a young boy of school age, he is affected by the 456's invasion. He believes Jack to be his uncle, and is as yet unaware of Jack's immortality and agelessness. The two appear close, although their contact is infrequent. His father's name is Joe.
