Torchwood 2 was one of the Torchwood Institute's four main bases in the 2000s. It was located near the waterfront development on the River Clyde in Glasgow and run by "Archie" (TWN: The Twilight Streets), who Jack Harkness described as "very strange" (TW: Everything Changes).
Torchwood 2 is well connected to Torchwood 3 since they contacted Captain Jack Harkness to come to Scotland in connection with a number of deaths in a pub. (TWM: Captain Jack and the Selkie)
According to files in the possession of the British government, Torchwood Two disbanded at some point prior to the 456 crisis, which took place in the early [[21st century]]. (TW: Children of Earth)
