Mr Scoones was owner of the one of the local work houses in London. On Christmas Eve he went to the Funeral of Reverend Aubrey Fairchild. There Mercy Hartigan went there and brought the Cybermen with her. The Cybermen put Earpods in his ears and this made him take the orphans to the lair of the CyberKing.
