Synopsis
Torchwood 3 has been blown up with Jack Harkness inside. Gwen and Ianto are on the run from the Government. Can they escape the Government and save the planet from the 456?
Plot
The episode starts after the Hub has been blown up. Gwen manages to escape and heads for her house as she knows the Government will want her and Rhys. Ianto meanwhile is fired at but does not get hit. Gwen and Rhys manage to escape the assassins. The next morning Agent Johnson is pulling bodies out of the Hub and finds the remains of Jack Harkness. She takes his remains to a warehouse in London. Ianto meanwhile sends a card to his sister's house, asking her to meet him at the park where he broke his leg. Gwen and Rhys board a lorry full of potatoes that is going all the way to London. In the compound that Jack is at, all his body parts begin to grow back into a skeletal form. Gwen and Rhys make it to London and try to contact Frobisher but they get through to one of his PA's, Lois Habiba. At MI5, however Frobisher, Bridget and Lois witness the creation of an unknown device. Lois agrees to meet them. Ianto makes it to London and steals a forklift. Meanwhile Lois gives Gwen and Rhys information on where Jack is being kept. Jack is fully formed and Johnson looks in on him. To keep him out of trouble she pours wet cement all over Jack and it hardens. Gwen and Rhys pose as funeral directors to recover Rupesh's body who is also being kept at the compound. Instead they are there to retrieve Jack's. While in the compound they are caught. Ianto who is also outside the compound hears the sirens go off, and he forklifts Jack's cell and pulls it out of the compound. Gwen and Rhys escape with Ianto in the forklift, Ianto then drops Jack's block into a quarry where it breaks, releasing Jack. Back at the MI5 headquarters a gas chamber has been built by government worker Mr Dekker, who has filled it with gas as the 456 are coming tomorrow.
