The Fog was a film released, according to ads in a Cardiff supermarket at least, on 26 June of either 2007 or 2008. (TV: Out of Time)
Behind the scenes
Strangely, the only 21st century film known as The Fog — with an identical, and instantly recognisable, film poster — was not only released in 2005, nearly two full years before the December 2007 setting of the episode — but also on 14 October, not 26 June. Just as curious is why there's an advertisement for a June movie in December anyways — or how the set designers managed to make this mistake while plastering the entire store with Christmas decorations.
