P.R.O.B.E. was a series of five videos produced by BBV Productions and made on a semi-professional basis. They starred Caroline John as her Doctor Who character of Liz Shaw, who now worked for the Preternatural Research Bureau. A story in memory of Caroline John, When to Die, was released on 15 April 2015 with Hazel Burrows taking over the role.

Overview

Other actors from Doctor Who, notably Jon Pertwee, Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy, who all played incarnations of the Doctor, and Louise Jameson, who played Leela, appeared in the series playing different roles, the latter appearing in all four productions as the character of Patricia Haggard. Due to licensing restrictions, no explicit references to the Doctor were allowed.
