Pokémon Go

Pokémon Go was a video game which was popular in 2016. One of the dares on truthordare.com was to play Pokémon Go underwater. (PROSE: What She Does Next Will Astound You) While infiltrating the Tokyo branch of Harmony Shoal, the Twelfth Doctor created a distraction by flooding the downstairs floor with Pokémon. (TV: The Return of Doctor Mysterio)

Behind the scenes

At New York Comic Con 2016, Fady Elsayed revealed that the cast of Class would play lots of Pokémon Go during the shooting of series 1. Greg Austin would sneak off set on his breaks, and catch Pokémon. Greg owned a gym for a while.

Fady and Vivian Oparah said that the Coal Hill Academy set had Charmander and Scyther, as well as Pidgey everywhere. Greg Austin found a Charmander on Pinewood, and further added that there were a few Squirtle around.
