Ida Scott was part of the crew on Krop Tor researching the black hole known as K37 Gem 5. She was part of the Walker Expedition researching the previous civilization which enabled the planet to orbit a blackhole, she also accompanied the Doctor down into the pit within the planet. She was rendered unconscious because her oxygen supply was running low. She was however rescued by the Doctor and reunited with her crew. (DW: The Satan Pit)
