Warren Brown voiced Stephen Gibson in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story Industrial Evolution, Rufus Stone and To'Koth in Signs and Wonders, and Johnny Skipton in the Big Finish Jago & Litefoot audio story Dead Men's Tales. In 2015, he joined the regular cast of UNIT: The New Series audio series as Lieutenant Sam Bishop.

He is perhaps best know for being a regular in Luther alongside Idris Elba as the titular character, Paul McGann, Dermot Crowley and Steven Mackintosh. He also appeared alongside Ashley Walters and Steven MacIntosh as the main characters in BBC drama Inside Men.
