Professor Penelope Holroyde was the captain of SS Howard Carter, a class 2 exploration cruiser. While exploring with her crew on Venofax, the Ocean Peninsula around their location suddenly began to flood with the waters of the avocado seas. The Eleventh Doctor helped to jump-start their ship from the planet's surface using his TARDIS. (PROSE: Shroud of Sorrow)
