Solis was a Chancellery Guard attached to the bodyguard of the Chancellor. He was hypnotized by the Master and instructed to kill the Doctor by disconnecting him from the Matrix whilst the latter was still connected to it. He presented himself to Castellan Spandrell and Coordinator Engin saying that the Chancellor wanted the Doctor brought to him. Carrying out his orders, he attempted to reach for the disconnection control, something he tried several times before being shot down by Spandrell. He may have been killed. (DW: The Deadly Assassin)
