The Owse is an aquatic jellyfish-like creature native to the planet Kaesov. Due to the position of Kaesov, the Owse will react to any shifts in reality. The Doctor kept an Owse on board the TARDIS in order to pick up temporal distortions. (PDA: The Quantum Archangel)
