Child Prodigy was an unproduced story written by Alistair Beaton and Sarah Dunant for Season 17 concerning time loops and freezes.
Beaton was a colleague of script editor Douglas Adams from his days as a comedy writer. Him and Dunant were commissioned on 12 December 1978. Their scripts were rejected on 9 January 1979 as being unacceptable. (REF: DWMSE 9)
