It ordered the Daleks to drill to the planet Galacton's core and energise its Radio-Activan to provide a fuel source for the Dalek Seventh Fleet. When two Daleks failed to return from this, it ordered the dispatch of Dalek Attack Squad Delta to find them. When a group of red-eyed creatures attacked the saucer upon landing, the Commander ordered an evacuation.
