The Seeth was a race that existed in a pocket dimension. They were going to break out of their dimension eventually but the Monk organised a way to get it out 200 years earlier to avoid them encountering the Earth Empire during the Analogue Wars. The Second Doctor managed to find away to undo the Monk's meddling. (AUDIO: The Black Hole)
