Gwen, who is heavily pregnant at the time, is accompanied by her husband Rhys. They give him his Vortex Manipulator back, and when Gwen asks him if he's back to stay, Jack says he feels responsible for the deaths of Steven, Ianto, Owen, Toshiko and Suzy. Feeling there is nothing left for him on Earth, Jack teleports away to an unknown destination. Gwen is left distraught by this, being the only remaining member of [[Torchwood Three]] left. She and Rhys promptly leave the hillside and Torchwood Three is effectively disbanded. | |||
