Toby was the grandson of Angus McCloud.
When his grandfather was visiting him, Toby was producing an exercise video. The girls in the video were required to eat a meal bar called Sure-to-Slim. When the meal bar was revealed by the Sixth Doctor to contain a telepathic alien intending to conquer Earth, Toby, his grandfather and the girls were brought to the police station for questioning.
