Charles Palmer was the director for two production blocks in series 3 and one block for series 10 of Doctor Who. He directed the episodes Smith and Jones, The Shakespeare Code, Human Nature, The Family of Blood and Oxygen.
He is the son of actor Geoffrey Palmer, who expressed regret that his son was unable to direct him in Voyage of the Damned.
He is the husband of Claire Skinner, who played Madge Arwell in the Doctor Who story The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe.
