Lucy Cartwright was walking home from a party and one of the Scarecrow's from Mr Clark's field kidnapped her and took her to the Family of Blood's invisible spaceship, where Daughter of Mine took over her body, killing her. After they had been defeated by the Doctor he trapped her inside a mirror, every mirror, he visits her once a year, every year. Lucy alway carries a red balloon.
