The Armageddon virus was a computer virus which a group of Earth cyberterrorists used at some point before 2009 in an attempt to bring down the entire international banking network. They were stopped by the FBI, and afterwards the unusualy potent virus was apparently circulated under security experts. When Mr Smith tried to destroy Earth, Alan Jackson used this virus to erase his memory. (SJA: The Lost Boy)
